Kelly

Kelly graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at St. Lawrence College in 2006 and wrote her registry exam in the same year. She teaches microbiology at Loyalist College part time but her role as a veterinary technician is her true passion. Her main interests at the clinic are laboratory work, especially cytology,  and surgical care. She also enjoys working with clients to discuss nutrition, behaviour and helping them with the care of their beloved pets. Kelly lives in Belleville with her other half Rob, step son Keenan, her big dog Blue and her 4 cats – Hunter, Mela, Aster and Tony (yes she is a crazy cat lady). In her free time she enjoys the outdoors and sports.

Do you have any animals?
I have a cane corso named Blue and 4 cats-  Hunter, Mela, Aster and Tony!

What is your favourite part of working at Loyalist Vet?
The wonderful team work environment, everyone is so positive and we all work well together. We all come to work each and every day dedicated to caring for pets as if they were our own and I love it.
