Graduating from Centralia College in 1985 Donna has had a long career as a veterinary technician. Her main interests lie in nutrition, preventive health care and helping pet owners to ensure a long and healthy life for their pets. A professed dog lover, her heart has been entirely taken over by her bossy but exceptionally loving cat Keira. Following the loss of Echo, her Labrador retriever of 16 years, she has chosen to become a foster parent to a service dog puppy, and looks forward to being involved in this very important program. An extremely proud mother of three, Donna and her husband Scott live in Quinte West with their youngest daughter.
Do you have any animals?
Yes, I have a teenaged, stray cat named Keira.
What is your favourite part of working at Loyalist Vet?
Meeting the clients and helping them make good choices for their pet’s health.
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a horse, because they can run so fast and free.
